E-commerce has challenged everything in the last few years—the operating model of businesses, the way we sell, and the way customers pay and buy. Retail is no longer just about selling products now—it is about managing customer demand, experience, and customer touchpoints in a far more dynamic environment.
Thinking in Categories presents a practical framework for building, growing, and scaling high-growth categories in today's consumer retail landscape. The objective of this book is to make the concepts of category management, marketplace, or retail business accessible to anyone who is curious about the field.
Whether you're starting your career in category management, managing a growing business, working on the brand side, building a D2C business, or leading a large retail or marketplace category, this book will help you think more strategically, make better commercial decisions, and identify the levers that drive sustainable growth.
